GREEN
it’s more than a vision.
It’s an ecosystem.

HKSTP pledges to reach Net-Zero by 2045.

That’s five years ahead of our city’s 2050 carbon neutrality target to achieve the Net-Zero Standard by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). That’s because the sooner, the better when it comes to driving impactful decarbonisation adoptions to lead Hong Kong’s Innovation & Technology ecosystem and build a paradigm for Green & Climate Tech innovation.

About the science based targets initiative (SBTi)

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. It is focused on accelerating companies across the world to halve emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050. The initiative is a collaboration between Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
